You can transfer (port) your phone number from another carrier to Mangomint.

Once your number is transferred to Mangomint, it will be used for:

• Phone calls

• Text messages

• Automated text messages

• Non-marketing flow text messages

If you plan to use your number for phone calls, please review the following:

• Mangomint is not a cellular provider. Instead, we use VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) to allow you to make and receive calls through the Mangomint mobile app using an internet connection. This means your devices will need to be able to download the Mangomint mobile app and use Wi-Fi or mobile data in order to make and receive calls.

• We recommend making and receiving calls through the Mangomint mobile app on a phone, as iPads and tablets are not officially supported.

Before you transfer your number

Transferring your phone number to Mangomint will require several steps, such as signing a Letter of Authorization (LOA) and deregistering your number from iMessage if your previous phone was an iPhone.

Once you submit your transfer request:

• The transfer process will take a minimum of seven business days.

• Your current number in Mangomint will be replaced with the number you're transferring.

• Your current number in Mangomint and the number you're transferring will both be usable until your confirmed transfer date.

Once the transfer is complete, the number you transferred will no longer be able to use your previous carrier for calls or texts. If you transferred from a traditional carrier, they will most likely cancel your service for the number you transferred.
